Let's give it a couple of years before finalizing this judgement. We have little idea what DeCastro is capable of healthy.

Zeitler graded out as the 12 best guard in the league as a rookie. There are 64 starting guards in the NFL.

Obviously this means very little if DeCastro turns out to be 'special' player at the position and Brandon Thompson turns out a bust.

But, if Thompson becomes even serviceable, and DeCastro and Zeitler are similarly ranked, the Bengals made the right decision.
