F the Houston Astros
pitch was low
Seriously, I might watch college baseball around the CWS and that is it. I do not like watching baseball on a less than professional level. Even in some of the lower pro leagues it's an awful watch.
If the ump is busy guessing the hitters sure aren't gonna fare much better.Aggies gonna pull this one out
Those breaking balls were eating those guys up there
the bad ump too apparently
The talent level is just not there to keep my interest. Watching 3B and SS bounce throws to first on deep hops isn't entertaining. Or watching pitchers just strike out 25 guys cause pitchers have good breaking balls. These kids have no shot vs these breaking balls.I watch very little CBB until this time in the season, I prefer the wooden bats myself
As a team they are hitting .180 tonight. Frogs aren't doing much better.if you're getting pinch hit for by a guy batting .196, you're having a bad day
(To Revs comment about enjoying minor league games)
I really enjoy AA games. Watched Knoxville (E Tennessee) when it was in the Toronto system and MY played 2b. Arkansas when it was in the STL system ... and now that I am back here Arkansas in the LAA system is boring. Best venue and entertainment was/is Frisco.
Back in the 80s-90s Texas League would play as many as two 7-inning double headers a week. Great entertainment between games. Guys getting shot out of cannons and acrobats when the circus was in town. Free admission passes at Krogers ... $5 box seats and food was your only expense. Good old days.
I think we are spoiled with how good the facilities are at minor league parks now.(To Revs comment about enjoying minor league games)
