That was the player he specifically mentioned. He said if Floyd is there, they will take him. He was then specifically asked about Guard, and he said they will not draft a G early, because they have Gs already on the roster.

Can't argue with that logic. I guess they'll be just forfeiting all their picks this year as we have players on the roster at every position. We're all set.

I don't watch enough college football, but if you guys are accurate on the greatness of Decastro, then he certainly won't be there at #17

LOL! Typical Bengals. The organization is completely schizophrenic. We pay our chief of propaganda to continuously sell the local fanbase on notion that we are "running" "smashmouth" football team designed to compete in the AFC-N. We won't pay big bucks to receivers and corners in FA because our team is designed to control the clock and win "in the trenches."

In the draft we never invest in the trenches.... Instead we draft players that clearly don't fit this style. I wouldn't be shocked to see us draft a speed receiver that has no place in the West Coast offense.

DeCastro is Alan Faneca/Steve Hutchinson 2.0, an instant pro-bowler. But who wants that right? Certainly not the "smash mouth AFC North" Bengals. More than likely our two 1st rounders will be a WR, and the kid without a position from Alabama.
