Look even if they hire this guy I agree the defense will still suck. But again I go back to my question about how many players have improved dramatically under Haz? Because simply put, we dont have the resources to try and FIX both sides of the ball right now. Had we rode with Haz for the last year of his deal, we simply concentrate n fixing the O-line and secondary. Now we have no clear direction.

Man you have so many strange opinions I can see why Dad wants to cyber kick your ass so often.

If they retained Haz, now that would signify no direction. He is not the guy to lead them in the future, so what is the use of retaining him? All you are dong is delaying the development of the players and the development of learning and executing a new defensive system.

1. Whats this teams greatest need at the moment player wise??

2. What defensive scheme will we be running??

You cant HONESTLY do more than guess at either which is why i say NO Direction. I would have rather spent another average year with Haslett, and Fix the offense.

Apparently he met with the Bears and is now meeting with the Skins. Bears couldn't close the deal. My money is on Dan. This is the only thing he does well, close on players/coaches that he wants.

I have been playing the wait and see approach for 20 years and Lucy always pulls the ball away at the last second. Sorry, I'm not taking the bait this time. I'm in wait and see mode alright, I'll wait until they show me something to see on the field.

That does not mean I won't root or continue to be a fan. I'm just being realistic because I've seen so many "great" off season moves fail. One of the greatest coaches of our lifetime returns and calls back to back timeouts, costing us to lose the most emotional game any of us will ever watch. Joe Gibbs shows up sporting a 124-60 record, he returns and under Snyder he went 30-34. Marty showed up with a 101-58 record and the best he could do here was 8-8. I don't want to hear about the run they made, bottom line is he did not win here, the only place in all his stops that did not return a winning record and there was no guarantee things would have gotten better had he been retained. A Borderline HOF coach comes here from Denver and turns into an idiot. Offensive Rookie of the Year turns into Vince Young overnight.

it will be hard to get good people here with the dysfunction but never show disappointment before you even have walked in the door
