I wonder could Phillips be a viable FS ? He is a Cb by trade but perhaps his coverage skills could translate there

Gotta think they are considering putting him back in the slot if Fuller continues to struggle.

How much more evidence do we need that they just don't like Dukie? He was beaten out by a guy who is now on his couch and he was then beaten out by another guy who was previously on his couch.

Clearly he has pissed someone off.

Heard Cooley mention that he was forced to give Norman his number and wasn't compensated for it, said he didn't take it too well.

I've also heard that he tends to free lance, not playing the defense called. DCs hate that.

I'm not sure how we fix our safeties and our d-line in one off-season. I know we have no shot of that without letting probably Jax go.

I'd move Murphy to DE
Move Cravens to SS.
Draft an outside LB with speed #1
NT #2
Sign a young FS with promise.

Love this plan but I would change it to read draft an ILB with speed. How can we not see more value in upgrading the safety position over what we are getting from Jackson? I was thinking about Cravens on Sunday. I can't wait until he becomes more involved, we need a play maker like him badly and so far it's been very little contribution because he is a rookie.

Gotta agree to disagree on the ILB spot. It does need to be upgraded, but I get so tired of watching Prescott, Wentz, etc take off on the outside because we are too slow or too dumb at the OLB spot to contain, or other team's TE's killing us on bootlegs.

I want a fast OLB opposite RK. Someone that wreaks havoc and chases down QB's from behind. Murphy has been a nice surprise but he is so slow, very good in run defense, so I kinda like what the original plan for him this year was, hand in the dirt in base.

I think a Tim Williams from Alabama or Walker from Florida St. could really change this defense.
