Well - this is a rebuilding year whether people want to believe that or not. If the Redskins exceed expectations - great - I will be thrilled. However - don't also get too down on the team if say they lose to the Eagles & make some mistakes in the process. This should be expected with a young, rebuilding team.

Even if they are not so great over the next few months there is still hope for the future. The key will be if they are improving with each game. Fans need to be more realistic. Many fans in the past complained that Snyder & co were mortgaging the future & overpaying for short term success. Fine - you now have a GM who appears to be taking the right approach. However - again - this requires patience from all of us & lowered expectations for this season. If it goes quicker than expected that is a bonus but please don't expect everything to be great this season. More likely it will be somewhat of a roller coaster ride.

The year after next, if we are not a 10 win team, I will be very disappointed.

This is not a must win game, but it will be a telling game. Can this team bounce back from a beat down? Can the coaching staff put together a strategy to combat the defense that will stack 8 in the box to stop the run? Can we stop the self inflicted wounds?

We are not going to the playoffs, so no game is a must win (except Dallas games).
