I have yet to see a dman in a winged wheel jersey in quite some time skate in his zone with so little energy, and then miss so many assignments as Smith did tonight. He skates so nonchalantly in our end and,generally, makes the wrong decision to cover a player away from the man who is far more dangerous than the one he's covering,

I made the mistake of not reading the GDT before catching the replay on FSD.

I was expecting a real game, which is why I was saving the comments for later. Oh well. Detroit now knows they are not a first-place team yet. There is a LOT of work to be done.
