Kelly is one of the few coaches that reserves scholarships for long snappers. We could have two scholarship LS’s on our roster.

It’s an under appreciated position but 2 scholarships?

I think so. I thought I read somewhere that it’s possible. But maybe Kelly doesn’t grant a 5th year if there are other roster needs.

Kelly has recruited it with a scholarship for most of not all his time at Notre Dame. John Shannon was recruited in 2016 so this is his senior year I less he can get a fifth year.

Notre Dame landed a top OT target Tosh Baker from Phoenix Arizona. 247 rates him the #4 OT #41 in the country, Rivals rates him #9 OT #51 in the country, ESPN rates him #25 OT #187 in the country.

This is great news, it seems like we had lost our pull with the top OL’s since Herry Hiestand left to coach the Bears.

Yeah. There were a couple of recent targets we missed to UVA (his brother goes there though) and Northwestern (WTF).
