Cam Hart a three star WR out of Maryland committed to Notre Dame. He's 6'3" tall and 190 lbs some schools wanted him to play CB.

I'm a little surprised that ESPN has a higher rating on many of Notre Dame's recruits right now with nearly all four star players including Cam Hart. They only have three guys rated loser than four stars one being the punter.

Well that stinks but with him planning on visiting some other schools I'm not overly surprised.

I've also heard that him being undersized played a part but Notre Dame were the ones that broke it off which is too bad if a kid want to play for them and they had offered him a scholarship but it is what it is.

His tweet announcing his commitment went on to state that he was going to continue to make official visits to several other schools, to ensure that selecting ND was the best choice. That seems like a very weak commitment, bordering on no commitment. ND has been burned in the past by guys making a verbal commitment and then backing out. If he’s not really committed, holding a spot for him might result in passing on a guy who really does want to go to ND. If he’s still interested in ND after he completes his other official visits, and ND has not filled the class, maybe there will still be a spot for him, but if he’s still looking around, why shouldn’t ND be looking around.

I heard that, but I never saw his tweet stating that he was no longer taking any visits. Hopefully it isn’t just a case of ND changing their mind on the guy.

It would kind of seem that way but they have also had a fair number of players commit since his offer so numbers wise they may not have room for a player with is size and skill set.

Kendall Abdur-Rahman 2019 QB has committed to Notre Dame he is a three Star out of Illinois near St Louis. He'll play slot WR at Notre Dame most sites list him as an athlete.
