He signed with Wisky already. Be interesting to see if BK and staff can pull a late Safety this year...

Been a busy day at work, stupid job...I have a lot of catching up to do.

I guess not...just read BK has confirmed we are done with signees today.

I think this is a pretty solid class considering how we faltered toward the end of the season. I consider it a success to finish as we did landing this class and winning the bowl game. Good day.

Overall good to great class. Kelly already said the Fresh Kicker will be the starter. I like this class a lot.

St Brown is a great pick up and Williams. Great gets at NSD. I love the WRs we added in this class. I think we have a great core of WRs now.

Still need a Safety. It is kind of mind boggling that the couldn't land a top tier safety with only three on the roster for next year with one coming off a serious knee injury.

Very intrigued by Tillery. Sounds like he is going to play on the DL. 6-6 now up to 315. Heard he is a beast in the weight room. Should add some needed depth and size over there. All healthy, I think ND DL should be much improved this yr and help these young LB out. Feeling big things this year...

I think Tillery will be a stud for the defense.

I have not seen him much on the Def side of the ball. But his size reminds me of Tuitt. Not saying he is going to be Tuitt, but anything close to him would be nice.

The kid sounds like a beast, but I'm always concerned with a switch from the O line to the D line. They usually seem to lack the required quickness. I remember when they did this with Chris Stewart. They liked his size, but it didn't seem to work out well. I'm sure there are many examples where this has worked well, but I can't think of any.

The one good thing is he played both sides in high school and was considered a top defensive player in his area of Louisiana.

But...they aren't switching anything. He hasn't played a snap at any position for ND. The staff wouldn't have chose DL for him if he didn't have the skill set.

Yes, I realize he hasn't played a snap at ND.

great read about SEC recruiting and football.

Meet the Bag Man: How to buy college football players, in the words of a man who delivers the money - SBNation.com

I'm just not sure why the NCAA hasn't investigated more.

NCAA investigation these days is more of a notice to the institution that we have some or a solid piece (usually not a lot) information of wrong doing and we're going to look into it.

Then the institution is like they are right, we cheat...self imposes some sanctions...that will work. And it does work. 'Cuse basketball the latest example.

NCAA is cool with that...continues to hold the remote with the left hand while juggling their balls in the right...depending on their dominant hand, of course. Kind of wish I worked for the NC2A...doesn't sound like a bad gig.

Some rumblings on fifth years that could transfer in for a fifth year:

- Avery Sebastian - Safety, Cal
- Brennan Scott - QB, where is he coming from...somebody help me
- Wayne Lyons - CB, Stanford
- Kelsey Young - RB, Stanford

Sebastian makes sense. Brennan Scott does not, unless the staff strongly believe Golson is going to leave. Wayne Lyons is a guy we recruited and lost out to Stanford on, but he hasn't really impressed me. We picked on him pretty bad last year Young makes sense for depth.
