Just picked up TWO linebackers today, although I don't think either were big time recruits.

Sykes and Hill, I'm pretty sure Sykes is friends with Nyles Morgan and is a legit recruit, Hill is a late bloomer many expected Texas to offer him some time in the next week but Brown heading out the door might have been enough to end the Longhorns chances with the kid. I guess Hill had an amazing Senior season.

Have any of you guys seen the kid from Cali (QB) that is a 2015 commit? Most legit athletes obviously look must better than their competition in high school, but this kid seems to just run away from DBs and has a good arm too.

Yeah I've seen some highlight film. I forget which QB "Guru" coach it was but he had coached some of the best QB's in the coming out of High School/College QB's and he's said he's the best he's worked with and the best in next years class.

In a truly perfect world, that would be true, we land him and Elam and Niles Morgan and then shut it down and keep em all happy and committed through fall practice. That would be sweet, although I am considering both Ju Ju and Elam long shots. Morgan I think we get at the end of the day.

Wonder where we are numbers wise, in terms of 5th years offered, EE's that can count toward 2012 and magic number 85.

Not sure. Thats why I'm asking. They usually like the skill players to come in early, get better acclimated to the playbook. And OL sometimes EE, the extra training helps them add weight and learn blocking schemes. But I couldn't tell who, if any are enrolling early. If we're at 81, we can take up to 4 more (but I think we're at 22 now in this class so we have basically 3 available spots to get to 25). Of course, none of this factors in transfers, career ending injuries and 5th years not invited/coming back.

Little update. We are now the #3 class on scout. #7 on Rivals.


Nelson had a good visit at ND. Its between ND and USC

This class is looking great. We still have a shot a 2 Big names in Ju Ju and Elam and long shot with Peppers. Others in the running are Quick, Nelson and Morgan.


We can still add atleast 4 more big names. Great class so far and the 2015 class started out strong.

Great article on Ju Ju on blueandgold.com. Everything is saying USC but he was like hold up a sec ND is a player in his recruiting and his fav coach in college football is Denbrock. What helped us was Firing Kiffin(Ju Ju didn't like him), Uncle coaches RB's at USC, He is from Cali, he grew up a USC fan, His parents love USC and don't like ND(not the school the Rivalry), and being close to home. It sounds like its all USC.......Wait a min he says I love ND because of the campus and what ND means to college football, He loves the coaching staff and 2 of his good friends are either at ND(Max Redfield) and current Commit (Tyler Lautua.) He said he would love to play with both of them. Last but not least he loves God in his life.


So fellow ND fans it might sound over but you never know what can happen in the world of college recruiting.

1 more positive for ND on Ju Ju, ND is recruiting him to play both sides of the ball. Safety and WR. They think of him as the next superstar.

Whats great about this class is we have 2 top Olinemen coming in with Bars and Nelson. These guys are big gets for ND.
