I'm just here to troll everyone
Yea but they were extremely disappointing though, obviously. One of the best N.L. infields during the regular season, then they get into the playoffs and just absolutely look awful. I think the playoff stage was just simply overwhelming for most of them.
But they are young, so hopefully it won't be another 15 years for us Reds fans see them reach the post season again.
Also, as I've posted before, all year long teams get their hitting stats from mediocre pitchers for the most part. You get to the playoffs and it's all good pitchers, and no 5th starters. And then everyone wonders why all the great hitting doesn't show up for the Reds, or Texas, or Philly.
This is what they mean by good pitching beats good hitting. The playoffs. And it's why the Giants are going to be in the hunt for a long time. And why the Reds need to get some balance.
