Bought the new book a few weeks ago. Need to get started on it. I have them all. Not sure how I feel about his brother writing Reacher now. Something doesn't seem right. But Lee Child had been slipping some his last few books.

I agree, his brother Andrew Child doesn't have the same spark as in-his-prime Lee Child in his story-telling. But still a bit better-than-your average fiction thriller suspense novel. just my opinion.

I wonder if Andrew Child is going to make cameo appearances in future Jack Reacher movies (or TV series). Like Lee Child did for the Tom Cruise movies.

Looks like as of right now, there are 28. with a lot of short stories and novellas with him in them as well.

are all 28 in a consecutive time line?? like are there books of young reacher?? or old reacher??

Looks like as of right now, there are 28. with a lot of short stories and novellas with him in them as well.

Some can be combined into a single movie. And some are just bad. Not movie worthy...not that that ever stopped Hollywood.

Moreso I love the concept of a show that has this level of flexibility with cast

It has a long shelf life if they want it

I want Alan to stay as long as possible, but it’s not gonna be 28 obviously

A short story has Reacher as a lanky teen on army base ( dad was a Marine).

of course... 28 is unreasonable... but my real question is whether it all has to be Ritchson?? or can they do seasons with a young reacher...

and if the show really gets hot, they can do multiple seasons in one year... especially if Ritchson is not needed for a season...
