Need two, Chris Johnson, Lamar Miller and Adrian Foster. Foster has just been really disappointing to start the season for me and I don't see that improving against Seattle's D so I'm leaning to the first two. Am I crazy to be sitting out Foster?

The only player, at any position, that I would consider starting against Seattle at this point is AP. everyone else is a no brainer bench until proven otherwise.

No way I'd sit Foster. The Texans will need him not just as a rusher but as a receiver to have a decent chance. I sit Miller.

Well we can't always agree. . but I'd bet my AVI for a week that both other options outscore Foster this week
OK...............don't forget CJ?K is facing the Jets this week..........Foster's chance at a GL TD is pretty good IMO..........

What about Chris Johnson makes you think he's a better option that Foster?

If you're asking me that question. . the fact that he's a near every down back on a team that isn't playing the Seahawks is the only reason I need.

So is Darryl Richardson, and he was a bad choice... Those two criteria do not apply everywhere.

Did you know the Jets are giving up the least amount of points to RBs in fantasy this season? Did you also know that Chris Johnson blows goats?

I'm a big supporter of Chris Johnson blowing goats. .so yes well aware.

And even though he blows goats. . He's twice the RB Richardson is, in a good day.

The fantasy numbers suggest otherwise. The only way I'm starting CJ is if I have literally no other option.

Fantasy numbers generated by an exceptionally disappointing Doug Martin..a Patriots team that just lost Vereen, with Ridley firmly in the doghouse, and an injured Spiller... in a game which btw, Fred "not so fast any longer" Jackson gashed them for over 10 a pop and over 100 yards from scrimmage.
You'll have to forgive me if I'm not afraid of "gang green"

There's much more to numbers than face value

Uh, Doug Martin is 2nd in the NFL in rushing. How exactly is that "exceptionally disappointing"? He went for 88 and 144, averaging 4.4 and 5YPC in his other 2 games, while getting 65 and 2.7 vs. NYJ.

Moreover, what has Chris Johnson done at all that makes him a tempting play? How does a guy that has the 2nd most carries in the league not have a TD yet, and only have 2 catches for 2 yards?

Jesus Sox... get over this need to prove yourself right. ..I hate Chris Johnson. .will never own him. . and I'd still play him over any RB nor name Adrian Peterson if they're playing Seattle, I've given my reasons, all reasonable points, that's where it is. Don't like it fine. . tell the OP to start Foster and Miller and be done with it. I've said my peace, and you disagree. Have a nice day

I'm not needing to prove myself right, Treff. Stats and quite a few fantasy experts agree, the NYJ are a legit run defense. Also, anyone with eyes can show that Chris Johnson is horrible and has limited fantasy upside even against bad defenses.

What the fuck is your problem? It's a message board and we're having a banter. If you don't like that, maybe you should find something else to do with your time, because this is clearly not your kind of place.

Everyone's worried about Johnson vs the Jets and Foster vs the Seahawks... I think we're all forgetting the most important thing here.. Lamar Miller is definitely the lesser of the three in talent, and he isn't worth starting against a high powered Saints team who will be scoring points, leaving Miller's run game (or lack there of) to be non-existent. And I wouldn't expect him to go out and start catching balls all of a sudden either.

You should start CJ and AF.

I hate to agree with you if it means thinking CJ is a good start... :puke:..., but you're right. I am facing the same dilemma in one league (Lamar vs. CJ), and I just can't bring myself to start Lamar yet. The Saints all of the sudden have a legit defense, and they are still for some reason giving Thomas a good amount of carries. Hopefully this is the week Miller differentiates himself and he's a viable starter going forward.
