I think the Bills will...
Overpay for Freeman or Hyde.
Wait for Gore or Shady.

I don't think they'll make the mistake of...
Signing Miller, Ware, Riddick or Thompson.

I would be intrigued to be a rebound of a cut...
From Coleman, or Duke.

I want the Bills to...
Sign Clement.

Question for you guys. If the LAC go into the season with Taylor at QB - what does that do to the value of H. Henry and K. Allen ?
Think they select a rookie, yet may roll with Taylor to start. ...

Unless its a super rookie that defies the odds...I've had the assumption that the entire offense gets at leastva small knick. Rivers wasnt exactly playing like a stud the past couple seasons, but he was still a legit starting QB, who had to be respected in all phases. Tai Stick is not. %98 of rookie QB's are not. I still really like Henry, all shaky QB's tend to lean on TE's and RB'S. But even in his case, the ability to consistently sustain drives and provide more targets, more chances to score, is in doubt. Allen? Gonna take a miracle for him to retain solid WR2 value imho.

Was looking at rankings last night.
Think Fantasy Pros had Taylor as the QB35. That doesnt show much confidence that the Bolts stick with Stick.
Plus Clark Kent and Jameis Winterception are out there.

Tyrod has the upper hand with Lynn. Joe makes a good point with Cam and JW though...but I think Tyrod + rookie is their plan.

Meaning Keenan Allen tanks, and Henry probably toes the line. Mike Williams stays on the boom/bust cycle...unless Taylor brings out his half season with Sammy aggression that time.

Well when Tyrod was the starter in Buffalo he seemed to target Mccoy at RB, Watkins and Woods at WR, and Clay at tight end. The problem is that none of them started a full season with him so the numbers are kind of hard to analyze. I actually think Allen will still have no problem getting 80 catches and 1000 yards. Mike Williams maybe 50 catches for 750 yards and Henry I think will be fine because Tyrod seems to like the tight end more than any other position. I also think that Ekeler will have no problem getting plenty of catches because McCoy was highly targeted when he played with Tyrod. I'm just not sure how many touchdowns he can throw since he only had 20, 17, and 14 in the three years that he started at least 14 games for Buffalo. Now granted Rivers only threw 23 last year, but that's still more than Taylor has ever thrown in a season so the touchdowns will go down for everybody. That does not bode well for people expecting a Mike Williams bounce back.

Let's not forget, he was supposed to hold the fort in Cleveland, but was so sub mediocre they had to turn to Baker way earlier than they wanted. And we're now 2 years removed from that, 5 years removed from his best season, and a steady decline every year in between. He might not even have enough in the tank to do much of anything. If LAC goes into the season w just him and Herbert/Tua/rookie X...I wouldn't be shocked to see the took way early if not week 1, and then who the hell knows?

Different offense though. He had us in the top half offenses under Lynn, and one top ten.

...as monolithic and unaggressive as that was. Probably more to do with no turnovers.

I spent a lot of time defending him...still broke the curse...but man, at 3rd and 7 in the playoffs, and he doesn't throw the ball, he lost my passionate rebuttals.

His legs probably aren't getting younger either. Has he learned? Doubt it, but I'd argue for Ekeler getting a boost on the ground and in the air.

Winston makes a ton of sense... Seems Riverish with his chuck 'em attitude...more legs though

I remember, you definitely had his back. Given the options available in Buffalo, I was too. I never really "like" liked him, but he did get somewhat of a raw deal in Buffalo while he was there.
But, its been a long time since he was defendable, I definitely have my doubts

Going to try and do one of these for all the top RBs and maybe a receiver or 2. One note not going to evaluate pass blocking since there is no way to know if or what the players blocking assignment was or if he even had one.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn

5'10", 215lbs, 4.51 40

Vision - Very strong behind the line of scrimmage quickly identifies hole and tends to take good angles, but i'd say its poor at the 2nd level and beyond rarely sets up his blocks and usually doesn't adjust his his path to extend plays. His line was really bad at Vandy and that can cause trust issue.

Burst/Top end speed - Takes a little bit to get going, but has a nice top end speed

Balance/Power - Breaks arm tackles, keeps turning his legs, and sometimes has defenders just bounce off of him also has a nice stiff arm

Wiggle/Footwork - Pretty much just a north south runner that likes to work his way outside the hash marks on longer runs, but knows how to make himself small in the hole and will make a subtle cut every once in awhile

Ball Control/Concentration - No fumbles in 4 years! He had a few drops as a freshman, but none since(at least according to the sites that track drops) tends to fall foward for extra yards

Hands/Routes - One of the better receivers out of the backfield play action and dump offs

Final thoughts/Rumors - His best plays came on sweeps and play action where he could get a nice running start. I'd say he's somewhere in the solid backup to low end starter range and has 3 down ability probably an early day 3 pick at the NFL draft. Rumor has it he's met with the Bills twice and I think he would be an excellent replacement for the Gore role.

Jonathan Taylor

5'10, 226lbs, 4.39 40

Vision - Below average He ran behind a great line and sometimes ran into his own guys and showed indecisiveness behind the LOS, at the 2nd level and in the open field his vision was great setting up blocks and adjusting his path

Burst/Top end - Both Elite has one of the fastest 10' in the entire draft class

Balance/Power - Size combined with balance and burst he's very hard to stop.

Wiggle/Footwork - Nothing flashy, but he makes really nice cuts, can dive, and tends to fall forward

Ball Control/Concentration - This is his biggest weakness many of his 15 fumbles were because he doesn't secure the ball on hand offs properly and he had 8 dropped passes on 50 targets in his 3 seasons I only got to see one of the 8, but he made a spectacular 1 handed grab then didn't secure the ball properly and lost control trying to turn up field

Hands/Routes - Hands seem great from what I saw and i don't remember seeing him run anything i'd consider a route mostly just dump offs. Wisconsin really doesn't pass, so much like Gordon did I could see this area improving drastically

Final thoughts/Rumors - Some are worried about the tread on the tires because of his almost 1000 touches. I actually think he could be one of the exceptions that last past 30 he looks to be built really well and he's been very durable so far. I don't have any teams that he's strongly linked too yet, but if were to pick a team I really like his fit in LAC. A lock for round 1 or 2

Cam Akers

5'10, 217lbs, 4.47 40

Vision - Really really bad o-line so i'm not going to knock him to hard here average behind the LOS and he sometimes takes poor angles(not trusting his blockers) in the open field he's a monster

Burst/Top end - Both very good he's an athletic specimen

Balance/Power - Violent runner with good pad level that can lower the boom his balance is below average getting tripped up easily

Wiggle/Footwork - He can make all the moves think Todd Gurley before the knee issues, but he occasionally loses his footing

Ball Control/Concentration - Both bad 10 fumbles on 650 touches and 5 dropped passes in 2019(Couldn't find any drop info for 2018 or 17)

Hands/Routes - This is an area with great potential he can run routes pretty well for a running back and is going to be hard to cover unless you put a safety on him. Just needs to fix the drop issues.

Final Thought/Rumors - Former QB that is still a bit green as a running back. Whatever team drafts him needs to bring in a good RB coach if they don't have one already the sky's the limit for this guy. He's a really good fit for any team that runs RPO's regularly a running QB and a former QB at RB would be pretty hard to stop. Day 2 pick.

JK Dobbins

5'9, 209lbs, 4.44 40 *high school hand timed

Vision - Great patient decision maker, but is decisive and prioritizes getting the first down over going for the big run(good fit for a zone scheme) really good in traffic and even better at the 2nd level setting up blocks

Burst/Top end - Nice burst, but his top end is just average

Balance/Power - Average power, but Balance is really good easily breaks arm tackles and bounces off poor tackles

Wiggle/Footwork - Elite precision never loses control 1 cut and go but also has a nice spin

Ball control/Concentration - 5 Fumbles in 3 seasons he did have a couple high profile drops including what looked to be a TD against Clemson in the playoffs, but I couldn't find any dropped passes totals for him.

Hands/Routes -Hands are above average and I really didn't see him run anything i'd call a route

Final thoughts/Rumors - Smart player that really understands his position and should make an immediate impact as a 3 down back with a preferably zone blocking team.

Zack Moss

5'9, 223lbs, 4.65 40 *possibly nursing a sore hamy

Vision - Great makes good decisions in the hole can weave/blast through traffic and set up blocks

Burst/Top end - Nope single speed runner with no 2nd gear

Balance/Power - Elite mows guys down has a viscous stiff arm and is very hard to tackle(104 broken tackles 2019 )

Wiggle/Footwork - Cuts and jump cuts for days(Singletary with size and power)

Ball control/Concentration - Very good 8 fumbles in 4 seasons couldn't find a drops stat for him, but with his catch rate i'm guessing not many

Hands/Routes - Excellent hands and really good YAC ability

Final Thoughts/Rumors - He has injury concerns his measurables are going to push him down, but Moss is a great football player. He probably ends as the workhorse in a committee(Would love to see him land in Detroit)

Keenan goes from 120 catch potential to about 80 max.

Henry probably gets an uptick and could pull in 10 TDs.

i think this is true if its <insert rookie QB name here> or Tyrod at the helm.
