Seems reasonable, I think I'd swap Georgia and USC though.

I think it looks pretty good. I have Vandy doing better, however.

Just curious, who do you have beating Bama and Georgia?

Also, how close do you think the Championship game will be?

I also believed SC to be the East champ and contend for a playoff / big 6 spot.

The more I comb over the conference the more I think they may struggle this season.

Not catastrophic struggles. But possibly a single digit win team.

I would say that South Carolina is far more likely to the win the East than Georgia, but Georgia is far more likely to win a national title if things go their way.

They both have similar schedules. Even with the head-to-head matchup, they both have an advantage. UGA will be coming off a bye week and USC gets them at home. I think the East will come down to that game.

I think you missed the pt. I think South Carolina has a very low volatility. They returned basically everyone from last year that was not a star (RB excluded). The are solid everywhere. Georgia has some serious talent, but they have some holes to fill. Just a lot more volatility there. Both are 10 win teams, but I would be confident setting the South Caorlina range at 9-11 and with Georgia it is more like 7-12.. Just not sure how the pieces come together for the Bulldogs.

as for the Champ game, I would predict Bama 27 Georgia 24.

The problem with the East is trying to figure out what the heck UF, Mizzou and UT will be. If UF avoids injuries, they could be a lot better than people think and pull an upset here and there. UGa has Missouri at home, but who knows whether last year was a fluke. UT always plays UGa tough, but we have them in Athens. They've lost a lot of players.

As usual, the winner in week 2 between UGa and USCe will have the edge as they can lose on game and still win (assuming no undefeateds or 1 loss east teams).

Yup, I'm thinking UF could be pretty tough this season barring injuries, as you said. It wouldn't shock me to see them make an awwbun type turn around considering all the talent they have.
