They found more damage in a different area of the tendon on the last checkup. So I guess it wasn’t psychological. But does seem weird that is they are deciding now to have surgery. It seems like it is an either quicker timeline or much longer timeline.
Harry Ford you are now an Angel.Going after Ohtani early this summer is even more pressing. Solves a starting pitching hole and fills our glaring weakness at the DH position.
They should make a hefty offer ( more $$ than prospects )
Sadly likely very true.Harry Ford you are now an Angel.
One bonus is we don't have to listen to Ray grunt all year or his weirdo almost translucent pants when he pitches.
I wouldn’t say it’s a career killer at all nowadays. Obviously doesn’t work for everyone but a lot pitchers have come back better than before like Munoz and VerlanderIts official he is getting Tommy John Surgery which is about a 14-16 month recovery usually a career killer for pitchers. Atleast he signed his deal before this happened but it looks like this could be an opportunity for Bryce Miller or even Emerson Hancock.
