The Bears/Philly game is going to be a better game than the Pats/Ravens game. It's that simple. I don't hear Pats fans whining about it not being on prime time. Why are Ravens fans?

The first part of this is pure speculation...plain and simple. Just wanted to be clear on this.

As for the 2nd part...my initial post was "whining" a little, simply because I'm going to the freakin' game. Haven't "whined" since.

Now...you still haven't explained how a team who has lost 2 of the last 3 (to the Vikings and Rams in a blowout) is playing much better than a team who has won the last 3 in a row.

I get what you're saying but both teams have looked pretty bad recently. Add to that Brady just lost Gronk for the season, yes?

The Ravens offense is 29th, 30th and 29th respectively rushing, passing and total yards.

I know it hurts for Ravens fans to admit but the Eagles/Bears game looks to be better.

The Pats and Ravens are clearly not as good as they were when they met last year.

If you were talkin' about the Hawks and Whiners , you might have an argument, but those 2 teams, regardless of how it looks at the moment, are not qualified to bump out the SB Champs and #1 runner up with Tom Terrific....I know that much for sure, and I fully expect both of those teams to implode at any moment, their dream is over....No one in the NFC is getting past the Hawks so they don't matter anyhow...

Let me get this straight:

Ravens beat Vikings 29-26 = Ravens are struggling

Bears lose to Vikings 23-20 = Bears playing great ball

Ravens winning last 3 in a row = Ravens are struggling

Bears losing 2 of last 3 = Bears playing great ball

Bears getting thumped by Rams 42-21 = Bears playing great ball

Does this about cover your stance???

Good stuff, Money !!!!

THIS is the key phrase.

It's not about how great you were last year, or at the beginning of the year, it's how you look when the game is going to be played, period.

Right now the Ravens suck balls on offense. You can't spin it any other way. You're bottom of the league in every offensive category - hell, even WE'RE better than you on offense. That should be eye opening.

As for 'Tom terrific', yeah - um, he just lost Gronk so.....the Pats offense isn't going to be putting up much yardage or points from here on out.

The Eagles and Bears is a better matchup.

If that bothers you......good.

I was trying to be kind but you obviously are not sharp enough to see that.....your point don't make sense, they are fighting for a playoff spot and then you say NE is in and that we won't make it in...You call that strong, you probably suck at fishing too then.....We are in right now, and it's up to someone to change that before they spout off their pie hole....Woooops line broke !!!!! :laugh3:

You aren't very bright, are you? I commented on your claim that Foles and "McCowan" had 10 INT's each.

In fact, they both have ONE INT each......a far cry from your claim. Just pointing out simple facts to a simple fan.

As you were.

Our offense had to play without Pitta and Jacoby and Rice, but now they are all back and healthy....That makes a huge difference to anyone with at least the IQ of a frog....
And the Stoolers offense ain't better than Cleveland, Texans or Washington, so they should be bumped out of the way for those other bums.....And I think Tom will survive without Gronk, if you actually paid attention, you'd know he was winning without him for most of the season....But that is asking a lot from a blinded squirrel....:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

You're the dull one, I said the real them would show up and have 10 int's between them...It's called sarcastic projection, Bill Dunce !!!:crazy::crazy:

Replaced by Bears / Eagles. I don't get it. I'm also thoroughly annoyed because this game should have been the season opener and now it's not even prime time.

Anybody who actually watched the Patriots at the beginning of the year would say that the Patriots were winning because of defense not Tom. They were top 5 in almost every category possible on defense. Heck 3 of their first 5 games the defense gave up 10 or less points. Even the most pathetic offenses in the league average more than that per game. There is a reason that all of a sudden middle of the season the offensive production jumped from averaging something like 20 points to 32 points. Gronk is huge for that offense.

Now as for your comment about Jacoby, Pitta, and Rice being back. Yes they help but Rice has missed what one game all year and that was a while ago and Jones hasn't missed a game since October. So the only player that has actually missed a majority of the season is Pitta and not sure he is going to add much to that offense. Minnesota averages on defense giving up the 2nd most points in the league so what Baltimore did was actually below average compared to what most have done to Minnesota this year. So even with Pitta back they still play like a below average offense and it took some last second heroics against a pretty bad defense to even pull that one out.

Um...we were relevant in 2010 when we kicked your ass in the DIVISIONAL round. Remember?

Let me remind you...

You had a 14 point lead and pissed it away in the second half because Flacco and the offense could only generate 3 more points.

At the same time you couldn't stop the Steelers.

Pop quiz: How many times have the Ravens been show the exit door by the Steelers in the post season?

How many times has the inverse happened?

Glad you find it funny that your offense, in all categories, is ranked in the bottom of the NFL.

29th, 30th, and 29th in rushing, passing and yards.

Nope...you're not struggling at all there.

So forgive the league if they don't want to show an offense THAT bad against the Pats, who are also going to struggle without Gronk.

The Bears/Eagles game is a better matchup.

And someone at the NFL agrees with me................not you.

Understandable response. Talking about better days in the past must make you feel better about the current irrelevancy.

The league made the Pats/Ravens game CBS' national game of the week. Hmmm...which game did it replace?

YOU asked me a question about the PAST, so I gave you an answer about the PAST.

See how that works?

And don't crow to loudly, we did beat you this year.

Hell, we beat you last year as well...with the oldest backup in the league.

You think that you answered the actual question??? That's pretty funny.

Yep. Batch played much better against us than Ben usually does. That's for sure.

And yet Big Ben beat you this year. Yes?

As for what's funny....

What's funny is the amount of money you're paying Joe Flacco for these stats...

18 TD's....17 INT's...QB rating of 77.

Now THAT'S hysterical! :pound:

I will remind you that Flacco just broke Ben's record for most wins in the first 6 years of a QB's career (with 3 games in hand). Will you sacrifice throwing other parts of the Steelers (i.e. defense) under the bus to defend Ben? We shall see...

I will also remind you that this season is not over. I would be more than happy with a 9-7 regular season record and an extended playoff run.

5 complete years in the league, 5 playoff appearances, 11 playoff wins, 2 AFCCG's and a Superbowl? Yes please!!!
