Buckle up!!
That sounds better than being compared to Robert Englund...
Either way it looks like he'll play with an edge.

Stars - B.
Nill knows where our deficiencies are (defense and continued improvement in goal) and drafted for those needs. I see him trying to be active in free agency (especially with the cap adjustments) looking at a #2 center.
There will be opportunities in Cedar Park in the next year or two. We shall see who steps up.
So when does he trade Jamie Benn to the Leafs?
Oh... probably around the time pigs fly.
Good thing for you your drafts continue to be stellar.
In even-numbered years only.
Meanwhile, Toronto media is questioning their choices because "none were Canadian".
Pens- C-
I have no idea what's happening with the team at this point, and attempting to predict it probably will only result in a head ache. The Neal trade may end up being a good one, but it's the subsequent moves that are important. The draft picks: I like Kapenen, but not having a 2/3 pick really affects things. I have no true knowledge to actually evaluate picks beyond the first or second round, so I won't even try. Rutherford continues to be far to open with the media, in my opinion...putting all his cards on the table. If he finds a way to get rid of Scuds, this offseason will be a victory.
Only the asshats are doing so.
I really don't envy the Pens' position right now. They have two of the greatest and want to put a team around them to win, but they have traded away firsts and seconds for years and it shows when looking at their lack of depth up front. How do they develop young talent while attempting to surround Sid and Geno with a team that can contend? Tough spot.
I think Johnston (more hope than think) will aid this. Bylsma was notoriously bad (horrible) at handling young talent. The only young player that excelled under his tutelage was Maatta. He always played old farts and grinders at the expense of young talent (Bennett, Despres being the big two). I don't think the team is in that bad of a spot, but they're going to need to retool their forward prospect depth if they want to compete consistently in the next 10 years. For the next five years? Having those two will always make the Pens a contender. Also: a lot of great young D talent, and if some of those guys pan out, they can (as Shero intended) trade for forwards.
Boy you make Bylsma sound like Ron Wilson there.
Most of what I say is really just a fan making an assumption, but I often felt like he harbored some bitterness from his own playing days. Or maybe not bitterness, but he remembered being that fourth line grinder, and he liked those guys on the Pens. Craig Adams hasn't missed a game in forever, even though when you look at the performance of the fourth line, and his advanced stats, he should be gonzo. A guy like him was in instead of a guy like Brian Gibbons, and I think it's because Adams is basically Blysma when he played.
EDIT: ALSO, store that under "reasons I'm thrilled the Pens didn't hire Ron Wilson".
I really, really thought Florida were going to give him the job. Crushed that such a national treasure remains in the pogey line.

I'd take him back over
I thought it was a guarantee that he went to FLA. But hey, maybe other clubs were watching those Pens games and thinking the same thing *coughadjustmentscough*
