damn it, don't make him explain it again. The mere presence of Pitta on the field is enough to ensure victory. Sure, he only caught 2 passes, but all the other catches were because of him and all the other runs were because of him. he draws attention away from the other players on the field. He is the Chuck Norris of tight ends. If he has to explain it to us one more time, I'm going to lose my mind.

^Well played Sir.The Almighty Pitta has arrived!!! lol

I am at odds....

I root for NE to win, and the Bengals beat Minnesota, and we are in, regardless of week 17.

I root for the Bengals to win, and the Ravens to beat the Patriots....then we have to take care of business against the Ravens at home...we do that, we have the #2 playoff seed yet again.

I guess, I root for NE....to ensure we make the playoffs, then if they do not, we have the bonus in week 17 of playing for the #2 seed, or losing and missing the playoffs altogether. LOL

HOLY SHIT that is crazy! :gaah:

In week 17 we could be playing for the #2 seed with a win, or missing the playoffs altogether with a loss.

And this is why earlier in the year I rooted for Pitt against NE, despite the fact that A: I hate Pitt and B: I knew we would battled NE for #2 seed...always, always root for the wins/losses that get you into the playoffs first. The Bengals have no such history in which we can simply infer that the playoffs are a given and we should worry about seeding.

Make the playoffs first...then worry about seeding.

Easy, root for the Pats to beat the Ravens then lose to the Bills. Both problems solved as long as the Bengals win out.

Oh, and root for the Bills to knock the Dolphins out of the hunt this week.

GO MIGHTY BILLS!

Living in the heart of Patriot country, I hate them more than any other team. It's gonna be hard to have to want them to win. :gaah:

With Pittsburgh long out of it, that game has zero bearing on whether the Bengals make the playoffs or not. The patriots are in no matter what. The only teams in our way of making it to the playoffs are the Dolphins and Ravens.

We blew our chance to get a bye. We just need to focus on winning our next 2 games and let the chips fall where they may.

To me the scariest team out there right now is the Dolphins. They are playing good football and can beat anyone.

I agree. I wouldn't be worried about the Ravens at all I mean the 4 game win streak, next game against a Gronk-less NE team and if they win have to play the reigning SB champs for all the marbles and the division title in the final week of the season.

Nope nothing to be concerned about here.

I hope the Ravens beat New England. I want it all on the line in week 17. If that gets us knocked out, better than sliding in the back door only to be dumped immediately. We need to go in with momentum, and we have two games left to gain that momentum. Even after fucking up the Steelers game it's still all there for us. If we aren't good enough to take it, who wants it given to us?

This is a test of our culture. Has it changed? Or same old Bengals? The answers are coming.

Harrison called it. We're soft mentally - That hasn't changed.

We have a real shot at blowing the playoffs. The only thing that will change that will be Baltimore being underwhelming.

I don't think so. Our special teams let us down, we lost our punter, had a poor call on Peerman on that KO faircatch, as it was obvious he was just telling Tate, he had it. We just got behind early and hard due to some miscues.

We toughened up, and played solid ball after the 1st quarter (20 of the last 26 belonged to us), but with Marvin losing his mind in the last 1:00 of the 1st half and watsing our time and timeouts, was ridiculous.

I am not worried about our mental makeup. I am concerned about the amount of injuries piling up on the defensive side, especially at the backend. Hall is gone, Mays is gone, Newman hurt for several weeks, Kirkpatrick knicked up for who knows how long....all we have left is Jones, Crocker and Ghee. We need secondary help bad.

Big statement. Dont be so butthurt...just having fun.

LOL

Look who the butthurt one is. I was just having some fun too, but you took it pretty seriously, because you are nervous as hell regarding the Ravens chances.

Big statement? You act like you are a "shoe in" to make the playoffs, and right now, you are not even seeded. I am not sure how that is a big statement.

You have to get past NE and CIN in CIN. I don't care what you think of us and our "mental makeup", you are the ones on the outside looking in, not us. Do you have a chance? Sure you do. But don't keep coming here patronizing us with your slap stick humor to poke fun, saying it is all in fun, when you are the ones looking up in the standings.

Cool. Now that you understand. Keep yourself and your one liners and puns to a minimum IF you don't want fun poked back at you. I hate to see you "butthurt".
