Not UW's first. Ryan's first.

But I don't think it's necessarily "hot seat" type pressure. I'm guessing based on the rankings (without having read the article) that it's more of an "internal" pressure.

I don't think it's a "hot seat" issue at all, I'm just talking about pressure. I can't see how Ryan has any pressure at all beyond the usual.

I agree that it's probably more internal, but I still think that it depends on the round. If any of them make the FF except Cal, I think they are playing with house money.

I have to believe this is referring to losing in the S16, no?

My guess is because he was there last year and has pretty much the same team back that there wouldbe pressure to do just as well or better of the season was a failure

Wichita St beat an in state team that had been ducking them for 20 years, it's all gravy from here. If it was based on "supposed to lose", UCLA and Mich State would be much lower on the list.

I think the #1 seed coaches have more pressure based on expectations, but Wisconsin is certainly not #2 on this list. At the very least, Bo Ryan should be below Coach K. It's Duke.
