The daily bitching is justified when the lineup choices and decisions are so obviously flawed that even a casual fan can see that they are terrible even by basic metrics like BA (which is apparently all that matters to Wash), OBP and SLG

I agree with the line up complaints somewhat, but managers are judged on wins and loses and if he was as bad as he's made out to be on the board then why does he still have a job? How the hell do they have one of the better records in baseball?

i must say, wash is gets his players to play hard with how he handles them. the rangers record is due to that, not his in game managerial decisions. those are very questionable to say the least...........

B/c they would probably have a better record with Wash if they weren't rolling Young out at DH every night, basically they are getting almost no production out of one of their lineup spots

The other 8 hitters are usually that good, that they are carrying Young's sorry butt for the majority of this season, and this isn't even to mention when he's allowed to put a glove on his hand

This isn't like being dealt an unfair hand b/c of injuries or suspensions or being handcuffed by the FO, this is totally within his control and yet he chooses to do nothing

Wash made huge tactical error tonite going to Ogando to face Swisher and Teixeira in this stadium. Could have left Harry in to pitch to Swisher as he popped up twice and grounded out and you keep him batting on his non power side. If Swisher gets on then bring in Ross to face Tex. You still keep Teixeira batting RH on his weak side.
Perhaps Wash did not do his homework on Ogando in this stadium. 8 IP 11 earned runs and 3 Hrs.
We probably still lose the way Kuroda was pitching but the manager has to know in a tight game that the pitcher he is bringing in has been horrible in this stadium

That's just it. This is the most inconsistent collection of baseball talent in MLB. Nobody could do a better job with a line up that will swing at anything near the strike zone in a two strike count. Never seen a team that could look so good one night and so dumb and uninterested the next. Anybody who can get this bunch to play to the record they have to date this year has got to be more than a clubhouse guy. Hell, if all it took was being a clubhouse guy MY would have them undefeated this year.
