I would have thought the Rangers would have kept this a secret.
Meant to say, I would have NOT kept this a secret.

“I feel like the Rangers have given me an opportunity and stayed behind me, and I’m certainly grateful for that,” Lewis said. “This has been a journey. But this is home. This is where I want to be. I definitely want to come back here next year, and I’m hoping something can be worked out.”
After Lewis went two months of pitching without between-start bullpen session as a precaution, pitching coach Mike Maddux was finally able to get him on the mound for some prep work.
This may have been discussed already, so sorry if this is the case. But does it surprise y'all that we had no knowledge of Colby not being able to work between starts? I would have thought the Rangers would have kept this a secret.
Wonder what JD does next. Replace from within? They were close. Hard to replace that.AJ to the Padres... that's going to hurt.
Is everyone working? Play ball

They did, they only announced it AFTER he was finally able to do BP sessions between starts, it was never mentioned while he was held out of them
JD seems to have always managed to put very competent men below him in the pecking order, I'm not concerned, though it sucks to lose Preller
Yeah I figured that part out. It just seems odd to me the team wouldn't have kept the media abreast of where Lewis was at to keep some of the criticism down.
