Missed much of the game so watched some of it on replay. Couple things, we stink at base stealing. And while Feliz threw it with more velocity and the pitching line looked good I would say Viciedo looked like he should be playing for the Rangers. Had a 2-0 count and swung at ball 3 and later struck out on ball 4. Did not like Feliz command at all.

That Viciedo AB it was horrible, it improved somewhat in the 2nd AB, but he also threw ALL fastballs..... maybe ONE 88 MPH changeup, so he should've been able to locate better but he was all over the place

Marte left the game last night after fouling a pitch off his knee. Maybe its Rios time. Just sayin.

Daniels likely won't appreciate enough return for the guy to move him and the team will not likely pick up his option(which is probably a good move) so we will lose him for nothing but heck we only gave up Leury to get him.

While I will say this, Dayan helped Feliz out swinging at pitches out of the zone and his command wasn't good in that AB, his velocity was up (May have been the gun). Feliz threw all FB's except for 1 pitch, when I watched it the second time I did notice there was much more movement on his FB that I don't normally see from him. I think he can at least build some confidence from this outing.

Didn't make it to your post before I posted, repeated a lot of what you said here

I'll say this, he looked a lot like early Feliz this afternoon, but about 3 MPH slower, and thats not a good thing, effectively wild but less velocity

Feliz definitely needs to have better command

Hopefully the velo ticks up to 97-98 down the stretch and he builds on that in winter ball and ST but he will have to mix in other pitches at some point to keep hitter offbalance

It wouldn't hurt if he learned how to pitch while he is at it. He still looks like a thrower who has no idea where the pitch will end up.
