Absolutely. There is just no need to try to force something there. Nobody out and Elvis, Josh, and Beltre due up, and you try to steal 3rd on the pitcher. Why? Did you not learn your lesson from last night? Teach that airhead a lesson and bench him for a few games. I'm all for aggressive baserunning and the risks which go wit it, but not mindless and needless aggression.

Kinsler CS 9 times this season. He now leads TEX in that category (Elvis has 8).

Kinsler remains tied with Elvis in PO each with 7.

Where was he going? ... unless Elvis missed a bunt sign on a 2-1 count. Typical of Wash to call for the bunt with nobody out ... just like last night ... when the same result occurred.

No, it wasn't a missed bunt. Ian took off running while the pitcher was still just standing there with the ball on the mound. Ian got cute and thought he could sneak over to 3rd and the pitcher wouldn't notice. Just idiotic.

Buzz and TAG are worthless in the booth giving honest assessments of the play on the field. Buzz especially.

Course ... they are paid by the Rangers ... but they must think we are idiots out here. Would rather have guys in the booth that say what we would say if we were calling the game.

But I would rather have them than the Royals clowns (especially Rex Hudler) who are as unprofessional as it gets and fly off the handle bashing the opposing players. A happy medium would be nice for sure- professional and mostly neutral announcers who aren't afraid of honest assessment.

Keith Law absolutely bashed Ron Washington on ESPN this morning for his ridiculous insistence on playing Young over Olt and now Proar. He called it "embarrassing". Good to see that national talent evaluators and media members are starting to take notice too.

Thank God for Moreland hitting both RH and LHP or we'd have MY at 1b still.

Wash doesn't want to use prospects ... and Buzz made his little pitch early in the game how it wasn't fair to the prospects to get thrown into the middle of it ... and not fair to the other players. Like crappy play from MY and IK is fair.

Guess Wash came up with this philosophy that announcers say is what Wash has always felt based on his experience as a player.

Apparently he didn't remember that was his experience and philosophy until after burning any talent that Chris Davis or Julio Borbon had by forcing them onto the field (or DH in the case of Borbon) every night.
