Is it me or did it seem like Kinsler was not running as fast as he could down to first. That play seemed like it should have been much closer

why murphy wasnt running on 3-2 is baffling and foolish. cook thows a ton of grounders, only has 4 k's in 45 innings. let that number sink in your head for a little bit. very foolish to not send murphy and the end result is a doube play. these little things in each game that wash fails to do is very frustrating to see

Calm down there buddy. It's one run and ellsbury is a good hitter. That's also a fly ball out in most parks.

He had some good swings prior to that ab. His 5 game hitting streak is a start compared to what we have seen from Josh the last two months

i agree, the indicator that he might be getting hot though is when he hits the ball like he has been lately. those are the indicators that will let you know what kind of groove hes getting in

I just don't get it. With his stuff he should be pounding the zone with the fastball. There's no reason for him to resort to junk balling with his arm.

Ehhhh....With 1 out...you dont always send the runner. Yeah, Murph isn't slow...but he isn't that fast either. Run the risk of a strike'em out - throw'em out situation. Late in the game, if down or tied....I agree. Early on in the game, I wouldn't send murphy.
