Called it, word was they told Cook they were going to take him until Oakland jumped up and grabbed him. I guess I made the call after Oakland took Cook though, so I didnt really go out too far on that limb

I'll go on record with, I would have taken Prescott over Cook, for the long haul.

Cook is more ready to play today. But over a 5-7+ year evaluation process I honestly believe Dak over Conner is a good pick.

Yeah wasn't excited about Cook but I think Dak could surprise and I'm actually a bit enthusiastic about the pick. Thought I might even take him in the 3rd before the DUI, but I'm glad he landed where he did w us

What's your "faith factor" in Romo not getting hurt/out over the next two years? There's your answer.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if we got 2 good years and one pretty good year off those Romo tires.

Can't say that I'm expecting another full year, and don't really expect him to play more than 6-8 games a year for the next coupe before he has to retire because of injury

Seems we're pretty close to being on the same page.

My hope of hopes is by getting Elliott we can take a lot of hits off him and allow him for better health/longevity.
