Holland and his almost 5 ERA have no business being in the rotation. Griffin has earned the right to stay until he proves otherwise, and Perez has been much better of late.

Griffin needs to prove he can get back before that...Rolling with N-Mart and Chi CHi won't be much better than Derek...it sucks.

3 HR's, you stink tonight Derek

Holland is Dr Jekel and Mr. Hyde. So inconsistent. I think he reached his peak 2010-2012.

Perez is showing him up this season.

the 5 starts at the end of 2014 were so promising but he just can't execute right now

Totally agree. For now, it has to be Derek because we have nobody better. I was referring to who would go to the bullpen if/when Griffin returned healthy. Romeo said it won't be Holland, but he is far and away the Rangers' worst starter.

I don't know what the team or anyone else sees in him for that matter. Is he still living off of his big time prospect potential label he once had? Is it that he flashes dominance every so often? He's been in the league long enough that what you see is what you're going to get- a career 4.30 ERA/1.32 WHIP guy with a declining K/9 and velocity. Mix in the goofball persona and multiple trips to the DL, and I really don't see what makes him valuable.

I fully expected him to build of his strong finish to 2014...he didn't and it's troubling. He is gonna be a BORP now and that's disappointing.

his WS start, where he was so good in 2011. Wait that was almost 5 years ago? He had lots of upside and it hasn't materialized

It is possible Darvish hits a short term DL. If that is the case then AJ gets back in time.
