No More "Bullpen Failure"
Taveras and Smith come through.
That’s his 1 for the weekWow, a Smith hit.
Won't matter when Jung is back.Small improvements for Smith of late. He has had 40 AB this month. He had 6 strike outs in the first 20 at bats and 3 in the last 20. His walks have went from 2 in the first 20 at bats to 5 in the last 20.
The average is still very poor, but he is making more contact and his OBP is .360 over those last 20 AB.
Not saying it will last or get better, but at least it looks like he is working at it.
It matters, but not as much. You never know when you are going to have an injury so it matters what your bench guys can give you.Won't matter when Jung is back.
Having a difficult time understanding that and why we are carrying four catchersToo bad Hedges has to play over Huff.
TrueToo bad Hedges has to play over Huff.
IMO he should not be on the bench. Duran can handle it and hits better. It matters, but not as much. You never know when you are going to have an injury so it matters what your bench guys can give you.
There is obviously room for both of them on the bench as they have both been there all year.IMO he should not be on the bench. Duran can handle it and hits better.
But the offense continues to look total lost. 2 hits, 1 run in 4 inningsBradford looks good so far.
