I love comeback wins, prefer SP shutdowns but I take them as they come

Now that was one of the best wins of the year. Great job Rangers!

And only one late west coast trip remains (3 games at Angels) until we get to September.

Just saw the score and to say the least I was shocked. Nice comeback. And sounds like Nick did a great job.

I wonder if they use Lohse instead of Ramos. I only say that because of Ramos last start and Lohse is used to pitching in the NL and hitting.

Evan Grant on watching Sonny Gray tonight: "I just see a pitcher at his best and it's fun to watch".

NO IT'S NOT FUN, YOU PATHETIC HACK! It is not fun watching the Rangers get shutout. That is never fun. Never. It's one thing to say you respect Sonny Gray's talent. It's quite another to say you're having fun watching the Rangers put up zeroes.

Why has nobody fired his fat lisping ass yet? He is an embarrassment to Dallas-Fort Worth.

Grant has gotta be one of the worst in the business, and to pile on here, he is a damn journalist and most of his tweets have various spelling errors and typos. I'd take Jane Lee from the A's over him any day.

Good grief. I had to be up early this morning so when they went down 5-0 I decided to turn it in. Great to see a win, but damn we've get to give our arms in the pen a break.

I know we're all tired of Fielder, but the guy is doing damage lately. Still wouldn't have him hitting fourth, but maybe he's decided to not suck.

Glad to hear the west coast games are almost done. My son just turned 5 and is going all-in Rangers fan. I was 9 before I started to watch baseball, but before we went west he was watching the first few innings before going to bed. Now he comes in first thing in the morning and turns on the DVR'd game while eating breakfast. I've never seen a kid that young already enamored with baseball.

Gotta hand it to him, he knows the Rangers already too. Except Profar. he can't remember his name, ever.

And hope Belts comes back today. Every morning when I come in it is the same question "when is Beltre gonna play again?". Gonna have to get him out to an even and let him meet Adrian I guess.

Its sad to think 10 for 36 with 2HR & 5 RBI is "damage" for Fielder.

Or false hope, or just an aberration, or delaying the inevitable

I'm not disagreeing with you. It's just become evident he's going to be in the lineup, so if he can produce, all the better.

I have an honest question. I have heard a lot of people reference innings or pitches being stressful. What is your definition of stressful and how can it be measured? To me getting hit hard, but only throwing 12 or 13 pitches in an inning doesn't necessarily equate to stressful. It is very stressful for the fan, but how stressful is it on the pitchers arm? I am not trying to be a smart alek or anything, but this seems like something that would be extremely subjective. I am curious what your definition would be and how you would measure or guage it. I am curious as to how others would answer that also.

I have heard Banny reference this subject in relation to Darvish, but I never read where anyone asked him to go into detail about it. Of course our local press is lacking in questions like that most of the time.

Honestly don't think there is any way to measure, or even quantify "stressful pitches." One of those things, a manager/pitcher can evaluate it without actually having any type of scale.

Probably should have separated my thoughts on this. B/c I really wasn't referring to Perez's 12 pitches as stressful. Pretty hard to be under duress when you only throw 12.

I had to check out last night as well. Glad to see a Rangers win, and them up 6.5.
