Why not? Our bullpen hasn't exactly been reliable, and Chi Chi has been untouchable. Chi chi blew that.

But this is why you have a BP to begin with.

Chi-Chi pitched great. Don't let him go to the dugout with anything less than a no-decision. He did his job. Now someone else has to do theirs or else.

But again, don't let Chi-Chi leave with a bad taste from a terrific outing.

That's my opinion.

That sucks for Chi Chi... he pitched a solid game.

You'd have a point if our bullpen wasn't a complete dumpster fire.

Smolinski had that ball slightly misjudged.

Only way we win this is a lucky solo shot.

Tolleson is good and he was the one up and warming. They wouldn't have been turning the game over to the dumpster fire likes of Freeman and Edwards.

Chi-Chi looked tired when he walked Kendrick. Hindsight is 20/20, but I would have trusted my closer there over a rookie over 100 pitches who just walked someone.

In save opportunities Tolleson has been solid. I can see it both ways but when MM went to the mound I really wanted Banister to come out and bring in Tolleson. But I am not going to rip Banister for that one. It is just too bad but I just had a feeling Turner was going to do that.
