Series Thread: Rangers Host Toronto For Three Games May 26-28

The weekend series against the White Sox was a disappointing one. Now, the Rangers will try to come home and see if they can play better and get a little momentum.

DeGrom, Eovaldi and Mahle will pitch for us. Alejandro Osuna will be trying to get his first hit. Several hitters need to get better than they have been of late.

Let's see if we continue along the path that leads to us being sellers at the deadline, or if we can, at least temporarily, divert from that path.

I saw where someone said Bob Nightengale reported that the Rangers are considering Kumar Rocker to work as rhe closer. That would be yet another colossal mistake by this club.

And it's all because CY doesn't put any emphasis on getting a closer. It would be easier for someone like Gray to switch to that role.

CY has stated that there are NO plans to use Rocker in the closer role. he said that Rocker is only being looked at as starter in both the short and long-term

Seems like most of the ABs have been solid ones just hope that is an indicator of good things to come.

He swung at the 1st pitch in his first AB and popped out and they were trying to work him inside again. Didn't go inside enough and he ripped it.
Burger hit his like a rocket too but they had the defense shifted perfectly.
