1st home run of Clase this year and only 3rd ever by a right handed hitter off him. It was a 99.5 mph cutter.Huff bomb.
Huff has 500 ft home run power. Don’t really want to lose him just yet.

Beasley claimed it was because of the matchup with Burke was better. Can you tell me why he got pulled after 73 pitches? He just struck a guy out.
Just more Beasley being soft?
?mikeRe Perez. Sounds mike agent approached Rangers with a number and they were not ready to accept or negotiate. Hopefully they can start again as soon as regular season ends to open a window to do exclusive
Actually, he pitched 119 innings last year between the minors and the Rangers. So that part, shouldn't have been a problem.Beasley claimed it was because of the matchup with Burke was better.
He's also got 2 more starts potentially in which if he pitches at least 5 or 6 innings he'll have right at 135 innings (last year he had 95). He was originally a reliever and they like to ramp pitchers up in 40 inning increments per year, next year he should be pretty much unlimited if he pitches well enough...
why do they keep sticking Calhoun in there?
It's a Beasly thingwhy do they keep sticking Calhoun in there?
dozen games left. makes no senseIt's a Beasly thing
Honestly I think it respect /courtesy to an old veteran comlng near end to a career. If it were a play off type situiation, I could think it is a L vs R thing but not in this case. Also Kole's stats say he is not the best bet for DH. Not much left except for courtesy / respect. It's a Beasly thing
I thought 95 sounded kinda low when I posted itActually, he pitched 119 innings last year between the minors and the Rangers. So that part, shouldn't have been a problem.
Honestly can not say. What has he accomplished to think we would need him?not now or have ever been a Mattingly fan but he's leaving the Marlins, so would anyone be interested in bringing him in next season to manage?
don't know for sure but he has taken the Marlins to the playoffs once and he has a good management recordHonestly can not say. What has he accomplished to think we would need him?
Makes no sense. Huff was 2 for 4 with a home run. Let him DH if he’s not catching, the rest of the season.why do they keep sticking Calhoun in there?
That was one of the reasons Beasley gave for adding a third catcher. LolMakes no sense. Huff was 2 for 4 with a home run. Let him DH if he’s not catching, the rest of the season.
