A 9.51 ERA says you may be right. If we have a young pitcher or pitchers that we would like to see what they have and give them some innings since this is a rebuild that would be okay.

Agree and the same could apply to others. Odor and Maz need to be sent down to work our their problems and give some other guys a look see.

They are mashing the royals double AA pitching staff as expected.

It’s a good sign, but unfortunately the organization will blow it out of proportion because they are “rooting for these guys” and they “believe in them”.

Unless one or both guys gets a 4 hit game every single game in KC they should still leave town on the hot seat as far as I’m concerned.

1 good series shouldn’t erase the bad start completely, but I’ve lost some faith in the way these guys make decisions so I expect that it would.

And I think that is okay too since as we have said this is a rebuild and if it does some good with them for the future then do it. Now is the time to try and get things worked on and worked out while we are not concerned about the standings but more about the future. We need to do all we can to sift out what will be productive. Like panning for gold.
