Not the best game to get excited about but a little participation might help.

:agree:.....but like yesterday, it's beautiful outside, it's Sunday and Father's Day on top of this.

It's good for everyone to have "other" interest.

Why is our base running such a dumpster fire?

To answer I don't know but it took a perfect throw to get Elvis.

I know. It just seems for every base we steal successfully, we got caught three times.

This game should be giving Synder some confidence.

According to what our dynamic announcing team was saying, he's hit over .300 for 3/4 years in the minors, and just needed an opportunity to showcase on the big stage; maybe anyway.

He's only got about 30 games in the majors I think.

Giminez has certainly cooled off.

Well the typical Mariners game today, iwakuma dominating us and Seager with the key base hit....Martinez has kept it together though...better job than I would have thought possible...

OK Ross. Nick did a decent job it appears.

Giminez has certainly cooled off.

When you start off hitting .400 and driving in a run a game - least seemed this way - there's nowhere else to go but down really.

Now, that's a fact Jack too. :yahoo:

Yes he did.

But, if you watched the entire game like me you'd have seen the Mariners hit the ball on the nose a lot with little to show for it. Lots of hard hit balls to the OF; liner types.

But hey, he gave up 2 runs on 96 pitches, walked only one, and clearly didn't have his best stuff. Yet gutted out 6 innings.

Good for him. Now, can we hit the ball at all off Mr. Iwakuma from here on in?

I don't know if most of y'all heard TAG's comment on Iwakuma earlier, but this is rather amazing: Since he was converted from the BP he's had 57 starts, and he leads the AL in ERA over those 57 games.

He could be a FA after this season too but I seriously doubt it... he has a really cheap option.

Bottom line are just the two runs. For someone who hasn't seen AAA, thats not bad.

He sure is wearing our asses out.

I see nothing but upside for this young man. Hopefully many years of watching him grow and us prospering in the process.

I'm combining responses today like there's no tomorrow. Really sorry.
