Martin Perez freshly back off of TJS to start the first of a 3 game series at Minute Maid Park. Game 2 is Lewis vs. Feldy and game 3 is Yoga vs. AS starter Dallas Keuchel. Will the Rangers show signs of life as they begin the 2nd half of the season or fall further back and virtually become sellers at the trade deadline?

This is a little disconcerting about Holland. Now September.

Rangers shut down pitcher Nick Tepesch with elbow issue

Rangers pitcher Nick Tepesch suffered a setbacklast week while trying to come back from elbow inflammation, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The team shut Tepesch down as a result and there is no timetable for his return. Tepesch has not pitched this season after experiencing elbow discomfort during spring training.
