If the Rangers pull this one out, it would a great sports night/weekend! Romo stepped up big time the last 2 weeks.

Romo had a hell of a game considering he was throwing to practice squad receivers.

You really do have to wonder what Wash is thinking. Up 3-0, knowing a win tonight kepps Texas in front of Detroit, eliminates the Angels and leaves them dead for the next 2 days, and keeps Texas in the #2 spot. Not only does that open us up at home, but a potential ALCS with Det we'd have homefield for as well. Yet he leaves his 57 year old veteran in there for 2 hits and 2 walks and gets LA and the whole crowd back in the game.

I really do wonder if he cares at all about being at home. If he doesn't, his managerial skills really do make you wonder.

take the good with the bad

he shows confidence in guys and sometimes it helps

but sometimes it is excessive and unnecessary

True, the Rangers making the playoffs is awesome, but I'll be a lot happier with the team hosting game 1 of the ALDS (prefer Boston, but it's looking like TB).

As for Romo - gritty performance and man made enough plays to get it done even with Phil Costa not knowing what the heck he was doing and dealing with the inexperienced WR's like you mentioned.

I'm pretty impressed with Laurent Robinson. I think he could step in be the #3 guy with more practice time. He showed flashes in the past with STL, and the talent is there. Next week against Detroit will be a interesting to say the least. "Suh looms"

It would be nice to end Anaheim's season tonight. It would take a lot of wind out of their sails the rest of the series.

i was just about to write that. It's great that the Angels are still in the playoff hunt right now because we can be the team that officially ends it tonight! LOVE IT!
