It's nice to know that we can count on Nathan when the pressure's really on.

We are just limping to the finish line. The A's and Angels are grinding, fighting, and finding ways to win. We seem to be in hold on for dear life mode. One win is all we need to clinch a playoff berth but even that just seems like such a tall order right now.

I agree if we lose oakland wins. We have to take 2 of 3 against them

The end of this season is going to be the second most painful ending to a Ranger season ever, of course second only to last season, which will never be topped.

Heads better roll after the epic choke job we are all witnessing. I hope JD and Nolan have a plan in mind. This team is done.

How many times have we walked Chris Ianetta this year? I know it's happened at least 4 other times. And almost every single time either Trout, Hunter, or Pujols has made us pay for it.

Nathan had Ianetta 0-2 and dead to rights. That's where he blew the save.

I had to follow the game on my phone, but I agree with this. He was ahead of Ianetta and ended up walking him. Was he close to the zone? Should have challenged him in the zone when the count went full. I'd rather make Ianetta beat us than Trout or Hunter.

He tried to get him to chase outside sliders on 0-2 and 1-2. Not bad pitches. But 2-2 and 3-2 he missed by a considerable amount. A walk that you just can't issue with Trout and Hunter due up.

Not so much a choke job as it is just playing teams that got better and right now they are playing better baseball. Tried to tell some of you back in August when the Rangers were only 19-19 against the West division that it wasn't going to be a cake walk.

I never expected a cakewalk. And I knew the Angels with their massive spending and signing Greinke would eventually play to their mean. The A's are a surprise, but kudos to them for bringing it on a tight budget.

I hate the Angels, passionately. And if the Rangers don't win tonite, I'm afraid things are going to get really ugly in Arlington.

Wash and the players have NEVER showed the fire and passion being shown by all the other AL contenders right now. Not at all. I'm sure the Rangers think they'll bounce back tonight, but they're going to lose, and then what? Then what stupidity do we have to hear from Wash?

How do you measure one teams fire and compassion to other teams? Seems to be an impossible comparison to say the Rangers want to win less than the Angels or A's when the reality is that it comes down to who has the better pitching and hitting on any given day.

A loss tonight would bring our record over the last 10 against Seattle, Oakland, and LA to 3-7. And we're supposed to be the best team in baseball according to Ian Kinsler. We'd better hope that "best team" shows up really soon.

A win tonight puts us in the playoffs and at least gets momentum heading in the right direction heading to Oakland.

Kinsler's a boob. Not one of the brightest bulbs to say the least. And yes, in August, this team was playing like the best team in the AL. Not so in September. Not even close.

The Rangers think there is a switch they can flip. There is not. Not in any sport. I won't be watching the carnage that is going to be tonights's game. Too painful, especially to the hated Angels. Somehow, this team is going to have to go to Oakland and win a series. Now who really believes that is going to happen considering the pitching matchups we're looking at? Me either.

For what its worth, many "talking heads" have the same view as Kinsler....

On a level of 1-10 how does everyone feel about taking 2 of 3 in oakland?
