I'm getting really tired of falling into big early deficits. Yesterday was a nice break from it, but here we are again.
The list of currently reliable Rangers pitchers has shrunk to such a minimum that it's depressing. The list reads Yu Darvish, Joe Nathan, Koji Uehara, sometimes Matt Harrison, sometimes Derek Holland, and sometimes Alexi Ogando. That's it.
Lowe, Scheppers, Feldman, Perez, Font, Kirkman, Dempster, Oswalt, Tateyama, and Ross are all question marks (some bigger than others) who could at any given time give up multiple runs in one inning. Ross was great for the first half, but not so much now. Adams is injured, so I didn't include him on either list.
3 dependable starters and 3 dependable relievers... anyone else who enters the game, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
The Rangers could still win it all of course, but this is certainly the shakiest pitching we've had here in the last 3 years. Get well soon Colby and Neftali.
I went to the game last night.
One big bag of frustration would be the best way to describe it. It seemed like a ball was going yaed, of going over our OF's heads and bouncing off the wall at least once an inning. Did they ever address on TV why so many balls were going over our OF's heads?
Pitches in the middle of the strike zone have a way of turning into one hoppers off the wall.
Today is a must win. If we do win i like our chances with yu tomorrow
No it's not.
No it's not.
agree, i would like us to win today so that LAA is eliminated but it's not a must-win
No it's not.
Well i say that cause i would like the last 3 games with oakland to be not serious...
