"It got interesting," Nathan said. "It's a credit to their lineup. They've got a lineup that can put up runs in a hurry if you're not sharp. I was just trying to make pitches. It was hot out there. It was steaming, I had a good lather going. But I wasn't tired, I still felt good."
Joe Nathan for T.R. Sullivan
My local little league team can put up runs so fast when pitchers load the bases in front of the #3 and #4 batters Joe. And if you think it is hot now ... wait till July and August. You especially "felt good" after Scutaro's base running error.
Might have been able to run Joe out there on multiple nights when it was cooler ... but need to watch it going forward or burn him up mid August.
