I agree. His most dominant years were with Arizona. Just curious to see what other people thought.

Unbelievable he got more dominant after the M's front office decided his back was an issue and wouldn't sign the guy.

I hope he goes in with a M's hat, but I have a feeling because of the WS and I do believe he still holds some anger towards M's management, he will go in with a Arizona hat.

I'm glad no one brought up the roids... Hopefully he HOF will just start looking at the numbers from that era and just take them for what they are...

AZ will get their first cap in Cooperstown...

What, no vote for a Yankees hat?

I kid. Arizona.

Curt Schilling is a more interesting player actually. He played more years in Philly but he wasn't really playing at a HOF level there (although he did have a few great seasons). His case for the HOF came after he left Philly. His 8 years in AZ and Boston are what is going to put him in the hall.

Of course. Remember when the Big Unit had that 30 win season like Kruk said he would?

I've been reading around and found this to be an interesting debate. When Randy Johnson gets inducted into the HOF which teams cap will he be wearing?

Seattle:
10 Seasons
130-74
3.42 ERA
2162 strikeouts
1 Cy Young Award
1 No Hitter

Arizona:
8 Seasons
118-62
2.83 ERA
2077 strikeouts
4 Cy Young Awards
1 Perfect Game
1 WS Title
1 WS Co-MVP
1 Killed bird

In all fairness, that bird did commit suicide. It did fly in the path of a fastball.

I'd prefer him as a Mariner, but I understand why it should be Arizona.

This. :2cents: The World Series & Cy Young awards in Arizona make it a no-brainer.

If it works out differently, hopefully M's fans can find a little solace in the fact that my childhood memories aren't tarnished on account of George Lee Anderson wearing a Big Ol' C on his cap in Cooperstown. (His first impression stuck. So this goes to DBack fans as well.)

Some of the best money I ever spent was to be in attendance the day his #11 went on the wall at Comerica. And the man never managed a single game there.

Be happy you witnessed greatness. It doesn't come around e'ryday.

Just so happens I realized that mullet was greasin' up great shoulders when I was a little kid, stayin' up late on West Coast swings. And when Harold Reynolds, The Kid and Randy swung by The Corner. Loved that Trident, it's still cool as hell.

Randy was also recently hired to work in the Dbacks organization. Coincidence? Nah. I think that pretty much seals the deal.
