I think I mentioned this a year, maybe two years ago, and I'm gonna say it again.

I just don't get why everyone thinks Cam Newton is gonna be so great. As a quarterback, it is necessary for him to be able to throw the ball with accuracy and touch. It's kinda obvious that he has not learned these skills yet, and if now is not the time, then when? Sure, he can run the ball. That isn't gonna last forever. What happens then?

At least he doesn't worship his biceps. I don't think, anyway. ;)

He's a good fantasy QB because fantasy games don't care too much about passing efficiency and also because he gets rushing yards and rushing TD's, but I agree with you that he's got a long way to go to climb the ranks of real life QB's. After last night his passer rating for the season is something like 78. For his career, it's somewhere around 83 or so.

He prefers the Superman pose. LOL. I heard that he and Kap are actually buddies. Maybe that explains a lot. LOL.

I have Lamar Miller. I'm going with Yeldon as my second RB until Lacy comes back to form. Sadly, Yeldon is on bye this week, so I have to go with Lacy. My only other option is to go with risky Abdullah or taking a flier on someone on the waiver wire.

Who would you rather own moving forward this season - P Manning or Tannehill?

I own Dalton, Manning & Tannehill right now because I needed Tanny to fill in for week 7 (CIN & DEN on bye). I originally thought I would just drop Tanny after this week and stream Dalton/Manning (Dalton obviously is the starter most weeks), but after MIA's resurgence... I'm contemplating this more than I originally thought I would!

Tranny...Manning's done, or at least his days of 25+ pts a game are. Tranny might not be consistently better, but there will be more games that he outscores Manning by a lot, than the other way around

That's how I was feeling. Curious to see if there are any pro-Manning people around here that think he will bounce back?

With how bad his arm has looked so far I just don't see it.

Tannehill. I'm rooting for Peyton to at least come around a bit to finish the year, but it has been painful to watch him.

Surely you can find someone better to drop.
Tate would be a possibility.

My other WRs: Hilton, Hurns, Watkins, Tate

I have 2 TE's on bye this week in Thomas & Clay. I'm dropping Clay for Watson. I could drop Thomas for Diggs or Washington? :noidea:

Wow tough call. I'd hate to just drop any of your WRs. No trade possible?

I think I am going to drop Tate for Diggs... Matthews is frustrating, but he at least gets targets. Tate is a crapshoot.

No one will give anything of value for Matthews or Tate. They have simply sucked all year. I'd drop Tate for Diggs in a second, why not? If I had to, same with Matthews. The only reason I hesitate with him is because he still gets the targets. Unfortunately, Bradford can't hit the target. And when he does, Matthews drops 'em.

I picked up Diggs and dropped Tate. I was surprised nobody bit on Matthews or Tate. Both are WR2's with upside. Nobody seemed to understand that.

Oh well. I doubt anyone will pick him up.

My World Series anger may have made me sound a bit harsher than I meant. I would drop Tate for Diggs with no hesitation; Matthews has sucked as well but you really don't have much of a choice but to hang onto him and hope for the best, whether it be that he helps your team or does enough that you can get someone of value for him.

Right now, the combination of his performance so far and his bye week pretty much ensures that you won't be able to move him unless you really sell him low.

There...now I feel better. ;)
