I assume he returns soon too.

But if he doesn't, you're short an All Pro. No way does that not alter things. (I saw the Giants came a calling on Kam. Any chance he gets dealt?)
None. It would cost the Seahawks $5.5 million in a cap hit, their not going for that unless some team goes full retard with a offer. Lots of Seahawks fans are calling for him to get traded to the Bucs or Jags or some other bad team for spite.

It'd have to be multiple high picks Id imagine for that kind of hit.

Or some stud OLineman. (Maybe Chef is on to something with Jerruh. He's got 1st round talent on the bench.)

A stud OL would be tempting, but who has one to spare? Also who has the cap room? Is it really smart to give this up for a SS? I think not, but would be delighted if the Cowboys gave us Carter for him.

I was thinking Collins when I posted. But I have no idea what kind of Cap space Dallas has.

Watched one of the Talking Heads on NFL Network blathering on this morning about how Arian Foster's return in a month is a "confirmed report". He must've mentioned three times how important it was that this was a "confirmed report".
Was it Jerry Harrison? Was wondering what he'd be up to. Never would have guessed this.

Chargers have come right out and said they are going to use a running back by committee.

So here's a question: what happens in fantasy strategy if RBBC becomes the norm? How does it affect drafting strategy? What changes do you make in managing your lineups?

Well, make that 3 questions.

I think it already has become the norm. And, it's made those select few who don't use a RBBC, the shining jewels at the front end of a draft. Peterson, Charles, Bell, Lacy, Lynch...that more than any other reason, is why they're predominately the first five picks, they're not sharing many touches. And when selecting RB's who are members of a committee, the scoring system of your league might very well dictate which one will be more valuable. PPR leagues, the third down/change of pace guy might very well be better than the early down guy. Woodhead may very well be better than Gordon in a PPR, Spiller might be better than Ingram.

When it comes to the lineups, same thing, scoring system dictates who might get the stats, followed by matchups. If I know there's a high likely hood of a shoot out, or blow out my gut will lose, I'm benching a guy like Gordon, but I'd start a guy like Woodhead.

don't really think it changes anything... What it likely means is that they are a little nervous in using Gordon as a receiver and therefore in the passing game and on third downs... But they will certainly give him the shot to prove that he can do it...

What the hell, is there some sort of trick to copying an image for your team's avatar on ESPN? Kb requirements are there. Very annoying.

Best comment I have read on Yahoo's fantasy site in awhile:

"Week 1 is just starting today and I am already tired of seeing all this DFS #$%$."

The image needs to be saved on the internet.
Then make sure you are copying and pasting the correct link into http window on ESPN under your team settings.

If you're referring to the image as it appears on the ESPN app... then the image needs to be saved as a picture (PNG file) to display. So it would need to be saved on the internet other than Facebook.

Hope this helps.

@broncosmitty how is ZZ looking im sure you will keep a keen eye this weekend

i stashed him on the farm in my main keeper league
He's the most complete back on the team, imo.

Unfortunately Joique Bell is going to play, so it won't be the Zenner show. Yet. But longterm, I absolutely love the idea of he and Abdullah splitting the backfield duties. (He's hanging out on both of my dynasty rosters, waiting. A kid named Zenner has to be used to waiting. Elementary school everything was alphabetical order.)
