Along with the first of the 7th round picks to get a 6th round pick back in return.
Rams Agree to Trade William Hayes to Dolphins

So, they gave up a player that provides depth on the DL to move up a whopping 17 spots?
THE PURGE IS REAL!
I thought I read somewhere that Wade was going to use Quin as an LB...Too bad we couldn't find a way to utilize Robert Quinn as a 3-4 LB!

We've seen both he and Donald fall into coverage with Williams before, and they both seem to do well. Can they continue playing well with increased LB snaps? Time may only tell if and when Quinn is used this way.
Wait, Quinn is 26 and Thomas is 32 and you say Quinn is on the down side?I don't know if Quinn is going to be able to adapt because he has been essentially an explosive edge rusher his entire career. He has also slowed with injuries and I think he is on the downside of his career. I think they should just trade him to Cleveland and let him finish his career with Williams. In fact do a package deal: Tru and Quinn for Joe Thomas and a fifth rounder.
Also, the Rams are still talking with other teams about Trumaine. We may end up having to keep him and his new salary with all of the other ridiculous contracts we just generated.
I guess I will have to just respectfully disagree here then.Yea, Vita, even though he is 26, Quinn's injuries have taken their toll. I am sure if they drop him in coverage he may have a better year health wise, but his sack total has dropped significantly and I don't know if that will improve with a change in his duties in the new defense. He is no Von Miller that s for sure. I say clean house!
