It's about time. If I was a Rams fan I would feel this should have happened a while ago. That being said, I was just starting to think that Fisher was right about Goff and that he wasn't ready to be the starter, and then he's fired.

Fisher used some type of trick play that always caused the Hawks nightmares but rarely worked against the other teams.

Surprised it took this long... 32nd ranked offense in the NFL... Fisher is supposed to be a defensive guru and his defense has given up 126 points in the last 3 games... That''s 42 points a game...

I still can't work out whether I'm happy they got rid of him this week or pissed they didn't wait one more week. He was helping hold that team back...except head-to-head against the Hawks.

Yeah wished they had waited one more game, would have liked to have the Seahawks give the Rams a shellacking, then seeing him get canned. Now that would of been great.

Somebody put out the rumor that Carroll was near the top of Kroenke's coaching wish list and the media ran with it. Carroll squashed the idea of leaving the Seahawks, of course, but that hasn't stopped people commenting about how "possible" it is. Some people suggested that he'd accomplished all he could here and would seek a new challenge, others said he'd want to go back to California because people love him down there and some people even said that because he left USC for the NFL, he'd have no problem leaving the Seahawks for another job despite having just extended his contract. Jon Gruden has a better chance of coaching the Rams than Carroll does and I don't think that's happening either.

If Pete left I would be bummed, but couldn't be mad at him for all that he has done here. That being said, if he were to leave Seattle would become one of the if not the best opportunity in years. I would love to have Gruden or Harbs take the roll, and feel hard pressed to think at least one if not both would be interested. Although, in a perfect world Pete stays put and finishes his career in Seattle. Wouldn't want it any other way.

Exactly. Even if that weren't the case, I can't think of any good reason why he'd want to leave a regular Super Bowl contender for another rebuilding project.

Man what a huge win that would be for us. Maybe when gus bradley gets fired they can reunite and keep the rams in the cellar for 3 or 4 years

Wait until they interview him 48 hours later and see if he changes his mind.

Bevell would take the job in a heart beat. There's only 32 jobs like this and even though its a bad situation, you can't turn that type of job down.

Their GM is already doing a good job on that.
