Just a couple of years hence, Saffold was considered a wash and heading to Oakland when he failed a physical. Fast-forward and a new and way better coaching staff and Saffold is considered nearly an All-Pro along with Whitworth. What a complete metamorphosis!!
It's draft day and this board is quiet.
Guess that's what happens when your team doesn't pick until late in day 2 of the draft.
Just MO but if the rumors are true and the Browns take Mayfield #1, they just blundered another QB pick
New England used the 23# to select
Isaiah Wynn OG, Georgia
Height: 6-3 Weight: 313
Draft Prospect Outlook:
Small tackle who could kick inside to guard at the NFL level. Controls defensive linemen of all shapes in sizes with excellent leverage, a wide base, and plenty of power. Dynamic pass-protector and very reliable paving running lanes.
Not only do they take Mayfield, they pass on Chubb at 4 to take a DB who should've been taken later? Why didn't they trade #4 and still get their CB? The Browns are still the Browns!!!![]()
Speaking of the 23rd pick, was Cooks worth it knowing they have to sign him to huge Jack, when Moore and Ridley were both still available?
I know you never know how the draft will turn out. Most didn't think Ridley would last that long for instance, but it happened.
Do you think the Rams are better off with Cooks, or maybe better with Ridley or Moore at a cheaper cost.
Win now philosophy because Kroenke needs to sell a butt load of high $$ PSL's says Cooks all day.Speaking of the 23rd pick, was Cooks worth it knowing they have to sign him to huge Jack, when Moore and Ridley were both still available?
