If y'all offer Stafford in a trade to facilitate aforementioned tanking ....call Carroll and the Raiders!!!!!

We need a QB and may offer a 2nd and 4th if y'all send us Staff and a 3rd.

I am sure the Rams will do their best to get what they can for Kupp because they don't want to pay his roster bonus and next year's salary. He is slowing a bit, is oft-injured, and Nakua and Higbee were the go-to guys at the end of the season. Stafford is returning but it will be with a re-worked contract.

The teams contacted by the Rams so far to find Kupp a new home have been: The Chargers and the Patriots. The Rams are going to contact the Broncos, Raidas, and the Chiefs after the Snooperbowl.

Some of the people who write these articles about Kupp are ridiculous. They all seem to name the 49ers as one of his potential teams. Yeah, sure. Maybe if they overpay, like give us multiple first rounders we'd consider it.

Looks like Coen is going to get what he needs from the Rams to get his Jaguars HC stint underway. Sonofbitch needs to go elsewhere but he won't because he knows the Rams structure and the personnel who run it.

As I have said before, if you lose a certain number of coaches within a certain time(like we have), the team losing the coaches should get a 1st round pick as compensation. Coaches are more influential than players in many ways. You could have the best players in the NFL on the roster, but if your coaching stinks, you won't win much.

Roger Goodell really needs to step in and address this because the Rams are getting disproportionately raided every year with little or no compensation. This should be know as the Rams rule. We lose 4-8 coaches every year and the Rams should at least get a 2nd Round Draft pick for every 2 coaches that leave after say the 3 coaches threshold.

The Chiefs have won back-to-back Snooperbowls and have a chance at three of them in-a-row and Andy Reid's staff is not getting raided like McVay's is. Pick any top team and they are not getting raided like the Rams are getting just poached to death!

The Dallas Caboys are emerging as a potential trading partner for Kupp. The Rams are realizing that there is not much of a market for Kupp and they are not going to get a draft pick anywhere near a 2nd Rounder or even a 3rd or 4th Rounder. The consensus is that a trading partner may cough-up a 5th Rounder but in all likelihood it will be closer to a 6th or 7th Rounder. Since the Rams don't have a 7th Rounder, they may just take it. That would be a joke but it would be reality.

On the other hand, if the Rams haven't burnt to many bridges, their mea culpa maybe an offer to re-structure Kupp's contract to bring him back with an incentive-laden contract that pays less. But that won't alleviate the cap hit the Rams would still have to take to keep him.

This is another one of those sad stories about some of the retro-players of the old NFL. This one includes Conrad Dobler who played for the St Louis Cardinals when they were in St Louis. Dobler was a nasty OG who would do just about anything to get into his opponents' head including biting them and pinching their exposed skin in pile-ups. He was sort of a folk-lore hero.

His family released last week the results of an autopsy performed back in 2023 when he died at the age of 72. He had significant evidence of CTE or Chronic Traumatic Encepholapathy in his brain. This is a degradation of the brain and its coordinated neural activity that leads to memory loss and sometimes is a prominent factor in suicide. It is due to repeated trauma to the head that is often a component of playing many Professional Sports such as NFL Football for many years.

Dave Duerson who played Saftey on the 1985 Bears Defense committed suicide and it was discovered he had a significant amount of CTE.

This is a sad story indeed.

money, possibly tanking for Manning, he does tend to never start the season the last 2 years. also nucca seems to always get the passes his way.

It's not about tanking, lol. It's about saving cap to improve other positions. They can save approx $12M against the 2025 cap if he's traded before his roster bonus is due. They notably need LB/DB upgrades at minimum.

Kupp has lost a step or three, doesn't get that crossing separation that he used to. He was becoming just a deep target, which can be better filled by a more appropriate player. Whit can step into his shorter range ball-control role while they add someone for the deep threat (who knows if Atwell or Robinson return).
