That's what I thought. The Rams really want Mathieu but can't afford him and used the Gilmore talks to maybe make Mathieu come down in his price demands. Mathieu is talking with the Steelers but I doubt anybody is going to sign Mathieu for the 13-15 million per that he wants. So the Gilmore issue is dead as he signs with the Colts. You can have him., Too old.

Ramsey not too happy

The Rams are back to effing things up again and they screwed the pooch on this one. Bad omen going into the draft.

Jordon Davis might be arguably the closest thing to AD and he is twice the size and more powerful and just as fast. At 6'4, 340lbs, he dwarfs nearly everyone else on the field. Of course he'll be long gone by the time the second or third rounds roll around and because the Rams' McDumpshits don't believe in guys like these (yet the Drama Queen picked AD in the FIRST round) or the round he'll be selected in and we ain't going to get him, it doesn't diminish the total package that he is. Watch.

Well, the Rams number one FA target now is Mathieu. Since they effed-up the Gilmore scenario, maybe they can recover and sign Mathieu. Since we don't have $35 million of dead cap space to carry this year (Goff, Gurley, and Cooks contracts are done), maybe the Rams will get after at least three of the unsigned FAs listed in this article. We could use Mathieu for sure, Melvin Ingram from the Chiefs, and we should bring back Morgan Fox from his one-year hiatus with the Panthers.

Yep I agree. This should be the year they insert Anchrum into Corbett's Right Guard slot. He has become a load at 6'2 and 330lbs. Put him in and let him bury people especially in our weak running game.

Coming from the International Football Player Development Program of the NFL, Pircher, from Italy could very well be set for either a Right or Left Tackle spot in the near future. He gets his weight up in the 330lb range and at 6'7, he is a younger version of Whitworth. Bring it dude!

I agree but the Rams are going to miss a chance at the one guy who could easily step into the 3 but we don't believe in first or second round players. I have already discussed a behemoth freight train in Jordan Davis who probably won't make it out of the First Round and certainly not the Second. The dudes on this list are fillers at the level that SJD used to be at when he first came into the league.

Interestingly, Havenstein, Edwards, and Evans are all FAs after this season. So I fully expect this draft to be loading up on O-lineman replacements like Guards and Tackles. Since the Rams brought back Allen and Shelton, the Center position won't be a focus and this is not a Center-rich draft like last year's draft was. So we may see a couple of Tackles and a couple of Guards with our picks because this draft is loaded with both.

Yep, as we all know, last year was the draft to take a center, and the Rams took Atwell instead.

Expecting Allen to continue to improve and get better is a risky proposition since last season was his best season, and even that one wasn’t great. Humphries had a better season as a rookie.

Yea ALR, the Rams know they effed-up about a quarter of the way into the season when Atwell repeatedly got hurt and then got the big one. This is leading some to believe and predict Atwell will be traded on draft day this year.

The Rams are also going into the season knowing they have Shelton to cover for Allen if Allen falters or gets injured. WE will see how Allen plays this year because many times in this past season, Corbett helped his lame ass out in pass blocking. He will have someone new in that Right Guard spot this year.

And had they drafted Humphries, they would’ve save the money they had to use to sign Allen, so it’s a double hit.

The McDumbshits are effing things up again by not extending Sony Michele. We gave up a sixth rounder for the guy and he had a big contribution to the Rams getting to the Snooperbowl last season. Yet, they are doing little to re-sign him and they really should because I can just about guarantee those two dumbasses are going to draft some smallish RB to take his place and he'll be another smallish player who will spend a goodly portion of the season on the injured list like Funk, Akers, and Henderson all did last season.

I am not quite sure why these dumbasses can't get it through their thick skulls that you still need a decent running game to keep defenses honest in the NFL and the one workhorse they should really try to keep is Michele. Nope, they are going to let him walk, in favor of Calais. WTF??!!

Seriously??!!

It would be nice to keep Michel, but he's a bit of a luxury at this point. In an era of disposable RBs, he's the Rams 3rd if he returns behind Akers and Henderson. 3rd RBs typically have to contribute on special teams, hence Calais sticking. Still have Funk, Jones, and Hawkins potentially in the mix.

IMHO we need to improve the running game as I'm not sold on Funk, Calais, and Jones and practically i don't even want them near the field. I feel as though they are cannon fodder at this point and no better than camp bodies. We need to improve the position, Cam should have never came back as it was a stupid decision and it proved that he wasn't ready. There's an article saying around 75 carries for like 175 yds, which isn't going to cut it. Either we keep Cam and Henderson or keep Cam, ship Henderdson and keep Michel. I'd prefer us keeping Michel as Henderson and Akers seem to be the same type back. Ideally i'd want a bruiser at 6-1 225 or 6-230, lastly we don't need Stafford to revert back to the Detroit version where he had to shoulder the whole offensive burden due to a lack of a running game. Looking at the current roster and the progress at this point it seems to be trending in that direction. Hopefully the draft has some good backs.

There are rumors that the Rams will move both Atwell and Henderson in draft day trades. But what scares me is McDumbshits will replace them with younger versions of smallish backs or players. It just continues to make no sense.

When they move Henderson, they will then extend Michel because he is a bruiser. BTW, Michel has not entertained any FA offers to date and this indicates he will eventually sign an extension.

This is similar to what is happening with Beckham Jr. When he gets done with his ACL rehab (and it will be a long rehab since the old problem was id'd and fixed along with the AXL tear he did in the NFC Champ game), he'll then sign a new contract and return to playing hopefully.

This is an example of what I am talking about letting Michel dangle and replacing him with real small RBs in this mock version. One RB is 5'7, 199lbs who is smaller than the first guy they'll draft who is already smallish. Seriously?
