Bye Von.

Thanks for helping get us the SB win.

Hope you enjoy Buffalo in the winter.

And good luck getting through the AFC.

It was about the money and being on another dam good team. Our young guys learned from him. Donald learned how to be more vocal. Thanks Von

lets keep loading up the draft picks
Don’t have much of a choice with limited cap space to sign anyone.

Good thing they cashed in this first year, because winning the SB going forward is going to be harder with the talent leaving.

But let’s look who’s leaving.

SJD was 5th or 6th rounder?
Darious Williams UDFA
Older Von Miller sure tough to replace that
Corbett we got for a 5th?
Old Whit what did we give for him a 2nd?
Obo was a 4th or 5th?

Gonna be tough to win a super bowl any year doesn’t matter. But it can be done with the group we still have. Need good luck on injuries and make more good moves.

Repeat!!!

I agree the Rams have done an excellent job drafting in the later rounds.

But, what is missed is the years that it takes to develop those players. It’s not like you can just plug those players in right away.

Gaines only now developed into a starting caliber player, and he just finished year 3.

Same goes for guys like Obo, Corbett, SJD and Williams. They all took time to develop.

Can’t just replace them with 5th and 6th round guys and expect the same production for at least 3 years ( with the exception of the occasional Fuller ).

Yep, the moves that were made were expected. We still have a lot of talent like Garrett, Lewis, Hollins, Rochelle, Fuller, Scott and others. We will be drafting a TE or two. Also we will be tendering Deayon. Mundt is coming off an injury and was expendable. We have Skowronek who has a SB ring and will probably move into a TE/WR position.

We are killing the comp game for 2023 and we will pick-up more picks as players are traded. I suspect we will sign Michel. No takers yet and I love the fact that Bojoro is a FA. With Hekker's release, he will be a Ram.

I think Whitworth will be back. He will be the next Weddle. If the Rams need him, expect to see him again. The Von Miller signing in Buffalo may prompt AD to re-consider retirement. I don't think he will. AD is in his prime and I think he wants another ring. Newcomers like Bobby Brown will help AD out.

I also seen the next wave of developing players move into starting roles. Guys like Brown, Rochele, Lewis, Garrett, Fuller, Scott, will be full-timers and I expect the draft will stock the next round of developers to be added with one or two finds going straight to the head of the class.

Von to Buffalo for 6 years $120 million. No thanks but glad for Von and glad he’s not in the NFC. Now onto being creative which is what the Rams FO does
Maybe now we can kick the tires on Jack and see if we can grab him.

Michel and maybe Powell will be the focus. Deayon would be in that mix. Everyone else will sign if they want a job. Wolford maybe traded as draft day arrives.

Buffalo gets a lot of crap for the weather, but the fan base is fiercely loyal and supportive. You won't have the home fans drowned out by opposition fans like the Niners/Rams game last year.

Also, apparently Von approached the Bills, not vice versa.

You absolutely can plug in Bobby Brown where SJD was at. Now Gaines looks great and Ashawn and Donald are still there. Unless Donald leaves.

Darious Williams too. The guy is 5’9. We can develop another one of him. Not to mention Rochelle has loads of talent with Ramsey there to coach.

Corbett?? We will see. They have depth there

Obo wasn’t head and shoulders better than the younger OLBs either.

Noteboom? He might be an upgrade who knows.

Von is the one that is questionable. The others I’m not worried at all.

Bojorquez would be a nice get IMO. Strong leg and he played exceedingly well for the Bills 2 years ago before they decided to switch punters for last season for a guy with trick play potential (that they never used - sound familiar lol?)
