All of the guys that were in the first cut have not been picked-up by other teams. Ray and Marshall are still out there. Polite, McCoy, and Doctson have been signed by new teams.

There is an article on Ramswire indicating that McVay has hinted at using all three RBs on the field at the same time occasionally. Is the beginning of McVay's version of the Jumbo offense to combat the 46 D and its variations? Only time will tell.

32M per is more than I expected them to sign him for, but such is the QB market these days

I always admired Brady for signing for less than his worth.
This season he is making 23M as a 6x champ.
And that's why they can surround him with more talent and keep the dynasty rolling

The deal also doesn't start for 2 years. Goff keeps playing like he has, 32 mil will be a bargain.

Brady also has a wife who makes about 60 mil a year. He can certainly afford to take a bit less. Most players don't have wives making more than they do.

Playoffs in his second year and the SB in his third I think he is worth it. Its a good deal for both the player and the team in my opinion

If Stan wants to write the check, then so be it

Of course that is true.

But when a player signs a contract like that, it always comes at the expense of another player down the road.

What player is going to become a FA because they can't sign him due to Goff's record setting contract?

Yea ALR. There is an article on Ramswire already forecasting the players we are going to lose in the future because of salary cap issues created by having one too many big contracts.

The next two priorities for the Rams should be to sign to an extension for John Johnson lll and Cooper Kupp

You have a good point ALR but I think Goff will get us to a SB win before he is done and I like the Rams ability to come up with good young players but you are right there is only so much money to go around

that's the going rate for qbs now... give the kid his bag . Brady can take 23 mil since his wife makes waaaay more than he does. Who knows the Kraft's could also be paying brady some cash under the table that we don't about. Imho football contracts need to be guaranteed anyway the
